The Look Back #
I knew our move to Pittsburgh was coming and I thought I was prepared, but if you asked Illidan Stormrage what he’d thought about it, you’d get the typical response. If you know, you know. :) Between the end of Janruary and February it seemed like almost all I did was back and unpack and clean and move boxes around. To make matters worse I’m in Physical Therapy for Sciatica and a winged scapula caused by a bulging disk. Then when we finally did move I needed to quickly build up a ton of cabinets and shelfs to store studio equipment and setup the recording studio. Whew.
To be honest, I wasn’t sure I would be able to get to any of the scripts or getting back into the recording groove but I pushed myself and sure enough on Feburary 29th I recorded a take for Episode 1.4.1. It was awful so I deleted it and tried again in early March. :/ I’m calling it a technical win, as my goal was to record 1.4.1. I didn’t promise myself it had to be good. Haha.
In the end February turned out to be a great month and a great inertial push into March.
Wednesday 21th - Thursday 29th #
- Finished setting up recording studio.
- Sold assets in two moving auctions to fundraise for another month.
- Started setting up gaming auction to fund the channel.
- Wrote scripts for 1.4 - Quantic Foundry Gamer Motivation Model series.
Sunday 11th - Tuesday 20th #
- Set up my new office.
- Built new cabinetry for office space and game design studio.
- Started setting up new recording studio.
Thursday 1st - Saturday 10th #
- Moved to Pittsburgh, PA.
- Unpacking and setting up new house.
- Played around with Enigma 1/2 BBS System.
